There are a few simple steps you can take to avoid falling prey to a phishing scam.

• First, don't click on suspicious links in your email, especially those that ask for personal information. If you're not sure wether an email is legitimate, don't open it....and definitely don't click on its links.
• If possible, contact the company or organization directly through a known and trusted channel before responding to any emails asking for personal information. You can also file a complaint with Federal Trade Commission or other federal agencies.
• Finally, pay attention to the tone an dcontent of the email. Is it unusually urgent? Are there misspell words? Is there an offer that seems too good to be true? If it seems "Phishy", it probably is.

Red Flag🚩: Requests for gift cards, lottery, or sudden " verification" links.

• Scammers pose as friends, officials, or brands.
• They pressure with insults, threats, or urgency for money.

Golden Rules

1. Never share Personal Details: ID,Phone, Address, School/Work informations - Keep private.
2. Think Before Sharing: OTP, Aadhar Pan and Account Details.
3. Don't Click Unknown Links: Ignore random DMs and "Urgent" link requests.
